Smartphone Use
A May 2011 smartphone survey, conducted by Prosper Mobile Insights™, found that most smartphone users prefer using their smartphone to access the Internet. The respondents from SSI’s mobile panel included 102 smartphone users (56% male, 44% female, average age 36) who completed the survey on their smartphone. The analysis reveals insights by mobile users on their smartphones.
Over one-half of the respondents said, “I use my smartphone for alll the functions — It’s my life.” What about you? How do you use your smartphone?

I personally don’t have a smartphone because it is to small for me so I use a laptop instead to take care of my daily task.
I use my smart phone to stay connected to my personal emails mostly. I’m still pretty new to all the capabilities it has so I just stick to reading emails, playing games, listening to music, or watching the news.
I believe it’s going to get to the point that retailers will only sale smartphones. Our world and industry is at a point that they dictate what will be “the norm” for us as consumers.
I personally do not have a smartphone but I do have the ipod touch and use it to get on the internet, email, etc and I love it. My husband and 2 children have iphones and love them.
I’m not really there yet, but getting there slowly. I know that probaby by the end of this year I will be forced (by my family) to own an iphone, but until then, my ipod touch is just fine for me!!
I use my smartphone to check my e-mails ; which is an advantage i enjoy because i am constantly on the move and i can reply e-mails whenever i want .I also use my smartphone to access the internet whenever i want and especially in emergency situations.
How do I use my smartphone?
Well I am a mother of a two year old little girl and is expecting another little one to be here on October the 13th, I also work, and go to school, so my smartphone is everything!!!! It has my schedule for doctor appointments, to work schedules, to when my assignments for classes are due. My smartphone keeps help me stay on top of my plans. It is another resource for me to access the internet, my email, the map when I am on the road, the weather, etc. I pretty much use my smartphone for everything, literally!
Well, I would not go as far as saying my smartphone is “my life”, but it is a huge help. I use it for navigational purposes, research, taking pictures, browsing the internet, weather forecasts, checking e-mail and using applications such as calorie counters. Smartphones also come in handy in boring situations, you can entertain yourself with games, music and movies or assist in entertaining a child when they are getting a little irritable(I know my twins love playing with my phone).
i use my smartphone for everything! i am lost without it, i check my email, my facebook, i buy stuff on my phone, i have a million applications, all my appointements are in my phone, i also check my homework grade…I believe it actually save me money because i can speak and see my family via skype, and use all the application for free. I use it more than my computer because it is always on and easy to access.
I currently use an iphone and I can totally agree that it is my life. I surf the web, make purchases and use apps that occupy my time. I lost my phone one time and did not know what to do with myself. Luckily I was able to get a new iphone the next day. I don’t prefer to access the internet from my phone, but it is the most convenient way for me righ now.
